Willow Stick Ceremonies is honored to offer this powerful workshop based on the teachings of the Q'ero Shamans & Alberto Villoldo.
The Sacred Journey South is the first in a series of four weekend workshops which will be held over the course of two years.
During this series, we will take a journey around the four cardinal directions of the Medicine Wheel as taught by the Q’ero shamans of the Peruvian Andes. These shamans are the direct descendents of the Incan empire.
In the journey to the South, we will connect with the archetype of Snake or Serpent. This focus will assist us to shed that which no longer serves us … our scarred skin that is worn and unhealthy. We will face woundings like unhappiness, low self-esteem, trauma, victimization, etc. These life stories will be transmuted into solution-focused behaviors that will move us toward deep healing and balance.
In The Sacred Journey South you will create a personal medicine bundle or Mesa. You will develop a relationship with a power animal, learn the shamanic journey to the underworld (lower world) and enter deep states of consciousness. We will use the power of ceremony and ritual to bring about healing.
You will learn to cleanse energetic wounds and empower the energy centers through the process of “Illumination.” This is a very valuable healing tool that can provide deep healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
