These are a few of the shamanic practices we may use for your session:
Now... What is shamanism?
Teresa is a shamanic practitioner. There is a rather complex explanation of this, but here it is in a nutshell. A shaman is able to navigate the spirit world in order to find solutions for ailments. These ills could be physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, etc. The ailments are creating an imbalance. We seek a restoration of balance.
A shaman acts as a conduit to bring spiritual knowledge and healing to their client. The shaman is not the healer, but rather the "hollow bone" through which the healing can be brought to the client.
There are as many methods of shamanic practice as there are cultures in the world. Teresa uses the various practices of "Core Shamanism." More information can be found on this by searching the internet or reading any of Michael Harner's books on shamanic practice. She has been training in this field for almost 20 years. Her teachers have all been members of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. Most notably, Sandra Ingerman and Nan Moss. Teresa is also a member of The Society of Shamanic Practice.
If you were to come to her for healing work, she would be instructed by Spirit to do what is needed. Her tools include a drum, rattle, gem stones or whatever else Spirit feels is needed for the work.
We also offer shamanic trainings and apprenticeships.
